Terms & Conditions

This tutoring contract outlines the information that you need to know about Bee Inspired tutoring services and expectations. It is to ensure that we are all in agreement with what is expected from both you as the client, and me as the tutor. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have regarding this agreement.

Tutoring Services Agreement:

  • I will provide tutoring services based on the academic/social emotional needs of your child that you specify, along with any other needs that I observe over the course of tutoring. I will not tutor any other academic/social emotional areas without your consent.

  • I will personally research and use independent resources for tutoring sessions,  unless you have provided materials that you would like me to use.

  • I will use my certified teaching skills to the best of my ability to teach your child and help him/her improve in the area(s) that he/she is recieving tutoring support.

Payment / Terms of Payment:

  • My tutoring fee per hour is $80. This price breakdown is as follows:

    • $70 for the tutoring session

    • $10 for the plan and prep per tutoring session.

  • The 1 hour includes 60 minutes of tutoring and 5 minutes afterwrards to check in regarding progress and any scheduling needs. I cannot stay longer than 60 + 5 minutes, unless this has been previously arranged.

  • Payments are expected within 24 hours of the tutoring session, whether it be before or after the session takes place.

  • Methods of payment include:

    • Cash (given in person)

    • Direct Debit (given online)

I include a plan and prep fee within each overall tutoring session. This is because I spend approx. 1-1.5 hours planning and prepping for each tutoring session. I purchase and print my own resources, and put time and effort into researching and finding the best resorces to use for each individual student.

Liability:

While I'm a certified primary school teacher, I cannot accept responsibility for your student’s academic performances or test scores. My responsibilities as your child’s tutor are to help support his/her academic/social emotional growth and success to the best of my abilities- based on my skill, knowledge, and experience in the teaching field.

Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy:

  • If you ever need to reschedule or cancel a tutoring session, please (if circumstances allow) notify me within 24 hours of that tutoring session.

  • If I ever need to reschedule or cancel a tutoring session, I will (if circumstances  allow) notify you within 24 hours of the tutoring session.

  • Tutoring sessions that are cancelled will not be charged, and therefore will not require a reschedule.

 

If continuous cancellation is taking place without at least 24 hours of notice, we will discuss the best plan for either continuing or terminating tutoring services.

Termination Policy:

  • You are free to terminate tutroing sessions with me at any point, provided that notice of termination is given at least 24 hours prior to our next tutoring session.

  • I too am free to terminate tutoring sessions with your student at any point, provided that notice of termination is given at least 24 hours prior to our next tutoring session.

  •  If I choose to terminate tutoring sessions, I will gladly provide reasons for termination and any other necessary feedback. I will try to provide you with any other tutoring referrals to the best of my knowledge and ability.
